I wanted to be Dixie SO MUCH! I probably shipped her and Kelly Brackett a zillion years before I'd ever heard such a term OR knew that the real Julie London was married to Bobby Troup.
I think everyone wants to be Dixie, at least from time to time. In universe and out.
I keep dithering on the subject of shipping Dixie and Kelly Brackett. The idea of shipping Dixie and Joe Early doesn't work, but that's because their combined awesome would break the universe.
