I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but have enjoyed it. I'm eager to see the next few as soon as *someone* (hint, hint) sets up a viewing party.

Have you been watching it?  How do you feel about "Americanized" Torchwood?

 I just cried watching the PBS Pledge Drive for Doctor Who. Thanks Lisa for helping make sure we could watch Doctor Who for 20 years.  You got me to pledge several times, and I'm glad you kept coming back.

I want to know which phrases have stuck with you from Obama's state of the union adress last night? Good, bad, or indifferent, whether or not you agree, what stands out in your memory?

I believe that I have officially found the cure for insomnia: Netflix has the old Doctor Who episodes available to 'watch instantly' on the laptop.  It works EVERY time!

A few years ago, Sean introduced me to this great little song by some geeky European guy. I was instantly hooked: loved it right away, even though I couldn't understand the words. I should be able to access my final grades for the quarter tomorrow. Quite a few folks that I know who are going to other schools are talking about their grades today, which is making me feel jealous. However, I'm very hopeful that I'll have really good grades to brag about tomorrow. Not knowing yet is making me feel like I'm not really "done".
