I finally called the audition line for the Lusty Lady. They say curiosity killed the cat, but this kitty has to find some way to make more money while working less hours, and I've been thinking about this A LONG time anyway. Well, honestly, as long as you don't go as far as to commit your image to print or film, I say go for it. You can never take film or print back, but an XXX club? No problem.

I think the scariest issue would be any sort of pressure you are put under while working there, as its a slippery slope in this sort of scene to go for the larger dollar signs. You should try talking to some of the people who perform there and get their opinion before making a real decision.

well, seeing as how there is already print and film floating around (unfortunately)...i guess i've got nothin to loose! lol.....Also, the lusty is a 'peep show' - so theres glass in between the audience and the dancers. ;-) It's also run by the ladies who work there, which is pretty cool.

Wow, I'm realizing that I haven't been on here in forever! I've been in a writing mood lately, so hopefully I'll be around more. I did start stripping at the Lusty in Oct. Unfortunately it didn't work out in the end because of the hours (I have a day job too) the 9-5 followed by a nap and then 11-3am routine did not work so well for me. I loved working there though, who knows, maybe sometime I'll give it a go again. In the mean time I've been doing lots of burlesque and go-go dancing, good times.
I saw your post about the GTO's- I love a gal that knows her Zappa! ;-) tee hee. I'll add you, see you on the interwebs.
