I'm going to Carolina! To see my close friends, chosen family and godchild. It's been a couple of years since I've been back there and I can't wait. How long is it until the weekend? Too long. I feel as if I'm going home. I lived there for a many years, bouncing in and out of the state.

It just took me an hour and half to clean off three cars. By the time I finished the third car, I had to start over. It's heavy and sticky up my way and the roads are a mess.

On the other hand, both my dogs and I love winter! We played until we were soaked. Everyone is safe and dry and warm now. Hope you are too.

I found this restaurant when I first moved to the DC area. I've been going there for more than 20 years. It's a wonderful escape from the city.
