That probably was not the best idea i've ever had. At least I don't usually follow through on my bad ideas. I know I have had much worse ideas, but I haven't always done them. But I'm sure this one is on my list of things I probably shouldn't remember (or ever do again) -- It's bold and underlined quite a few times.

How much did we drink? ( Read more... )

Not the best idea? You not only encouraged a student to get himself drunk, you provided the means to do it. Don't you think that deserves a little more regret than 'I probably shouldn't have done it?'

Yes, it was not the best idea. But I did not encourage a student to get drunk. I did not nudge a bottle of Firewhiskey his way, or anything like Firewhiskey. Though, I do realize I provided the means to the
alcohol. And yes, it deserves regret. Lots of regret. It was a bad decision on my part.

I believe we've already talked about this, though. In the Teachers Lounge -- with you speaking rather loudly, if I remember correctly.

Do you even realize how much Potter looks up to you? By simply failing to discourage him from drinking, you were encouraging him. And considering how many people look up to him in turn, you furthered encouraged younger students to drink, because anything that Potter does is 'cool.' We continue to speak about this because you seem to be taking it as seriously today as you did yesterday.

I do not think that because I didn't discourage him to drink, that I encouraged it. And even if I was, I doubt Harry will run out and do it again according to the rather large headache he achieved this morning because of it. I seriously doubt that the only reason the younger students would possibly drink is because of Harry - they'll manage to get alcohol on their own somehow.

And I am taking this seriously, Severus. Perhaps I wasn't taking this seriously yesterday, but I must apologize, it's difficult for one to take things seriously when one is inebriated.

Can we meet now? How long does this last? 6 hours? Late into the night? I hope it last that long...

Anytime works well for me Professor. I'm free every night after dinner. Except for Monday. Mondays are horrible for me. We can start tonight if you have time. Ha! This is like a date!

Tonight after dinner works perfectly fine. We'll decide on the others days once you arrive. But no Mondays. Bring all your usual class supplies - I'll supply the tea.

Alright, Where am I to meet you? Your room perhaps?

Tea sounds lovely Professor.

Does my office work? That way we have whatever we need nearby - Books and whatnot.
