I keep all my fabric and supplies in my son's room and am trying to give him more space since he is now getting big enough to play. While going through my tubs I found my stock of corset supplies and have decided to have a corset sale. SO.... I am offering custom corsets at discount rates to clear out my stock.

If you are interested, please read on. (LOTS of pictures) )

I am loving the mechanical and streamers print. Let me ask my husband how our finances are going. I may very well be interested in an underbust. I still have measurements that were taken for a previous (Les Carpole) corset, and they cover darn near everything, would those suffice, or do you have your own requirements?

I only require very simple measurements as long as they are acurate, so any more than that are bonus.

I'm changing my LJ to lacet_noir, it means black lace in french, since I can't afford a token online. If you want, you can add me there, I'll be doing my posts on my new LJ from now on. I'll be deleting this one soon, I just thought you'd like to know just in case.

so you can do contrast panels? you mention you have black satin. my dream corset would have (assuming that you have three panels to work with in each half of the corset) two panels each of that mechanical fabric, black satin, and silver vinyl, and never two of the same panel next to each other. I'd make things out of safety pins and nuts and bolts and glass beads and pearls to pin all over the corset. (you haven't seen the jewelry I make--I swear all of this makes sense when you do).

In short, I want a corset worthy of a cyborg girl who's also a girl with a disability, because that's what I do and who I am. I give all my conference presentations in corsets and I think this would become The Corset For Conferences if I had it.

I couldn't do this immediately though: it will have to wait until after Christmas.

I could do those three in a contrasting pattern easily enough, tho the pattern I use has 6 pannels per side, which would equal 4 panels per fabric. I could do it symetrically or in a repeat pattern going around (if you need an explanation of what I mean, let me know). If you have any more questions, you can email me at mstangledwebs at yahoo dot com

I am still doing it, in fact I have been on a huge cleaning/clearing/organizing spree for the last couple weeks, which means I have found lots more fabrics that I plan to post. Hopefully by Tues or Wed I will get a chance to take pictures of more swatches and post them up here. I will probably repost, not edit, this and send a note out to the communities I am in that allow such things. I will continue to run this special till 1) I run out of supplies or 2) I get tired of sewing all together (which will probably never happen).
