It is official November 15 I will be on my way to the Dominican Republic to accomplish step one on the path to my life goal! Also on the way there we are going to stop off in New York to do a little touring. I have received so many blessings in the last year, it is unbelievable how many doors open up when you start pursuing spiritual goals.

Like so many other people, this week I went back to school. So far I am loving it. There is much to be said about organized learning. I have been attempting to teach myself Spanish for 4 months now and have to say it is so nice to have someone else teaching me. I teared up today in the my Kingdomhall talking to our secretary. He said he received the phone call too switch my publisher card. It just hit me, standing there in the midst of the congregation that I have grow up with, that I am leaving, for real.

Is it possible to be spiritually mature with out first being emotionally mature?

I just spent a beautiful weekend on the beach. If you have never been to Apostle Islands, you should go. Yesterday I went to a memorial service for a dear brother in our hall that passed away last week. It was beautiful. He had a very long and fulfilling life. The talk was full of great stories that reflected on who he really was as a person and what he meant to so many people. Today was my first day at my new job, and things didn't quite go as expected. But none the less, tomorrow is another day.

Hallmark lessons learned today:

1) Life is precious, and truly a gift.

2) Anyone who has eyes that can read this and a brain that can comprehend what is says, has more than a lot of people and should be greatful.

Yay! I am moving friday! Ohhh and my parents called today so that was nice, now I know where they are. I feel a little role reversal here. I understand now how important those annoying phone calls are to parents letting them know where you are and when you will be home. So they will be home friday. I actually miss them a lot.
