That was Monday. Today is Wednesday.
Consensus regarding Farley apparently has not been reached. Despite all being in agreement over the weekend and even as recent as last night, one person has decided that he "doesn't know". What will happen is I will cancel the appointment for Friday. I made the appointment - took some doing too - so I guess I will cancel it. I will continue to live ( Read more... ) -
Time to say good bye
Our cat Farley has been not himself for quite some time. He's taken to not using a litterbox very often, lost a bunch of weight and acts like he doesn't know us. Hiding all the time. Wandering with a completely blank look on his face. He even pees right in front of us not even really knowing what he is doing. You can poke him and he doesn't ( Read more... ) -

I like to collect old postcards, especially ones that have been written on. I like reading those tiny little pieces of a life that may be forgotten. Sometimes what is written will make me wonder just what the heck was going on in that life ( Read more... ) -

Death by apathy
We're at Rays Moms house and she's a hoarder. Ray got this idea that we, he and I could put things to right. His brother sits and watches. His sister, the same. The hpuse has every window closed but one upstairs. It nearing 90 degrees outside. There is one window unit a/c inside. The air isn't moving. Enough already
My schedule of late: June 9 - 15 I think, Michigan for funeral. June 24 - 26 trip to Abiquiu, NM that we couldn't cancel due to hotel policy. July 1-4 trip to Gunnison, CO which we promised friends we would do, so we couldn't back out. Now we leave tomorrow, for Michigan again to visit family. I hope this means we can skip Christmas.
