The baby girl said her second word today. Her first was 'da-da'. After all of the coaching I gave her on how to say 'ma-ma', the little stinker's first word was 'da-da'. Traitor! Her second word was 'eat', used in the correct context! Came out something like 'eeeee-tah', but that's close enough, right? When she gets up from her nap in the ( Read more... )

Bwa ha ha! Little stinker indeed! It's like reverse psychology, y'know--try to teach 'em to say one word and they say another. I'm sure her daddy's very pleased, though. ::grins::

Hehe what you expect little girls always love their daddy's. 'Cos they give them stuff XD. My mum always said I was a total daddy's girl.

With Jake it was the opposite he said "mama" first. Babies are cute. But with jake being able to crawl and pull himself up onto things i've gotta be like a hawk while baby sitting.

Katy said 'ma-ma' first, Mackenna's first word was 'stuck'...used appropriately. Keira's just focused on food, I suppose. She isn't crawling just yet, but she can pretty much roll to wherever she wants to go now, so...nothing is safe! Bwah ha ha!

Jake only says mama and dadda at the moment. He's more interested in moving around. Seeing how close he can get to the fireplace before he gets moved away and beating up his kitten companion.
