To be a productive human this morning are apparently quite small.

I'm doing a lot of staring.

But, my office is nicely re-arranged.

I submitted 4 papers... strangely, 2nd author on each.

Paper 60 at 4pm
Paper 80 at 8:30pm
Paper 83 at 9:21pm
Paper 87 at 10:22pm

Apparently, other people are less procrastinator-y than my colleagues and I.

It always takes me longer than expected to submit a paper. I upload, then realize that stupid MS Word has screwed up the formatting of an equation or turned it into a picture that doesn't upload. Then I have to open that file and fix it. But, every time I open a file, one more piece of equation seems to get corrupted, so it's really a weird race ( Read more... )

Out of about 150 students that rated me in calc last semester... I had 2 give me an "average" and everyone else was either 4 or 5 with the overwhelming majority at 5.

I fell asleep and started dreaming that I was on the wrong bus. I sat up awake right fast and saw that we were out on a pretty nondescript highway so still wasn't sure. Then I realized what bus I was on and calmed down.

Very weird.

This week the timing at Bridgeport was to the minute with last week (10:35) when I missed the 12:00 bus by a few minutes. This week we just rolled past the Lincoln Center and it's 12:06. So, we've still got 20 blocks to go and it might end up being a sprint for the 12:30 bus ( Read more... )

Thursday Aug. 30-> Bridgeport at 10:33 (missed 12:00 bus)
Sept. 6 at 10:20 (made 12:00 bus)
Sept. 13 at 10:35 (will I make the 12pm bus?)
