I'm sure that many people are disappointed with the current state of my office... They include: me, all the people that had to move crap around to clean the floors.

I'm disappointed because my office is currently a major disaster. They were disappointed because of all the stuff they had to do to make the office workable.

By Monday. Classes start on Monday. If I start teaching, I need to at least finish the semester. Once I've started the year, it'll have to be a pretty decent job to get me to move. Once I finish the year, it'll have to be a good job to get me to move.

My tenure vote is in about 13 months in the department.

Ugh. I've hit the pre-semester point where my ability to be a useful member of the professorate is going down hill. I have 2 research tasks that I want to finish, I need to do stuff for class.
