So I put a new ceiling fan in my bedroom. I got the biggest (52"), coolest (brushed stainless steel, white blades, etc..) one I could find. My bedroom is now a giant turbine housing. I don't think you could fit two of these things in here. If I put it in reverse, I feel lighter, that's how massive this thing is. I just have to be careful now ( Read more... )

I'm picturing the huge fan that Charlie and his grandpa nearly get cut up on in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Stay away from that Fizzy Lifting Drink.

Ya know, that's exactly right! The fact that said ceiling is painted dark purple, with string lights running along it's border with the walls helps a bit, too...
