I am the product of years of refinement:
I am so meticulously refined that there is nothing left but shaved off edges.

People tell me of witty things I once said and I think about the kind of person it took to say those things.
Inside I concede that some part of me is no longer there.
It's not the wit thats gone, it's the polish.

I actually followed through with my plan to stay single.
This last year has been incredible!
It's been 14 months since i got out of my last relationship
and i couldn't be any happier with that decision.
The "old me" would've caved by now
would have dated  someone just to feel less alone.
Anything not to be left to myself.

it feels really good to be single, clean, sober & getting back to ME!
i've got the house to myself today, my sister and her husband are visiting some friends,
