Yup, it's Cyrillic, and I still use it occasionally. It's been a long time since I've spoken it fluently, but I'm trying to get back into it. And I can still read the Cyrillic alphabet, albeit slowly.
That is too cool. I did a wikipedia lookup on Macedonian and got quickly lost in a "choose your own wikipedia adventure" maze. Lots of fun. :)
I can read Cyrillic thanks to a healthy interest in languages and 3 semesters of Russian in college, but it's on about a first-grade level. Especially with Russian, where words are routinely about a zillion letters long.
I am fascinated by languages and Slavic languages are some of my favorite. I should have been a linguist.
