I dyed some eggs today, but I wasn't 100% convinced it was going to work, so I only did four. I used silk ties to dye these =)

We're going to Newcastle for a quick little day-trip. It should be fun. We'll leave NL Sunday night and return Tuesday morning. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it back in time for the NAWC meeting which is a bit of a bummer, but not enough of a bummer that I'm canceling my trip ( Read more... )

Uh, so I tried to amputate my finger with my new food processor blade. That slicey blade is VERY SLICEY. Then, we were bandaging me up (it's really not that bad, but you know how fingertips like to bleed and bleed) I started seeing stars and feeling like I was going to faint (which hardly EVER happens to me). I've been working on decorating my little Easter tree that I'm making. I have made some little embellished felt eggs. I also have some cute felt butterflies on there and chenille chicks. I am still debating over whether or not I should paint the branches white. It looks okay as it is, but maybe it will pop more if they are white. I would just ( Read more... )
