“Te quiero,” she whispers.

She gives up the baby because her mother tells her to, because it’s the right thing to do, because good Catholic girls do things in a certain order.

You pretty much said everything I have always felt. I have NEVER EVER been comfortable with the season opener. I have always felt that Ryan should have gone to the house one last time. I always thought it was so out of character for Ryan. (But maybe...by him making NO effort to ever check up on her, Josh S. was trying to convey how very relieved Ryan was to have to not be involved, to not have to live that life of forced domestication.) The entire situation just leaves me unsettled. I don't see a bad guy/girl. Just a very sad turn in both their lives ( ... )

I feel your pain with the same old style. I'm working on it. I wish I could be a more descriptive writer, but every time I try...it just isn't there. I guess my mind doesn't work that way.

Season 2: Hell yeah! I mean come on. It would have taken a one minute scene for Ryan to be redeemed. Just have him go to Theresa's house, pound on the door, see that they have moved. Then I would have felt MUCH better all year. It just didn't feel like "our" Ryan, to never check on Theresa. Or maybe they could have had Ryan tell Sandy a few episodes later, "I never went back, because I was too happy to have gotten out." Something...anything! Sigh.

This is why I stalk you Joey: "I can feel the quiet, disturbed peace and quiet of Theresa's car, and Ryan's screaming, muted figure running outside her window, begging her to stop." (My fav. part of the bit.)

This is the same image I had in my mind. Sometimes I fear for you....cause you often see things the same way as I do! lol

Thanks for the always satisfying feedback.

beautiful beautiful work.

And as she leaves him in the morning sun, books long forgotten, scattered on the ground as he yells after her to come back, Theresa whispers, “Te quiero.”

Wonderful ending. Very short, but very good. Says just enough. I love that she just walks away. Very powerful. So many emotions in so few words.

I heard you wrote a Seth POV story. Is it posted somewhere else?

I do actually have a Seth POV, set right after the Dearly Beloved. But I have it locked right now because:

1. it's more less unbetad
2. it's not done
3. no title
4. I still haven't decided if it sucks or not or if it is fit for public consumption.

Given all that, are you sure you would like see it? lol

nothing you've written sucks. i'm going through nasty withdrawl symptoms waiting for the next chapter of your Seth-mono story. not to put any pressure on your or anything

Ok, I figured out a solution. I created a journal just for my fanfic. I friended you to it, if that's ok. I'll post all my one-shots I have locked, from now on, over there.

I'm just crazy! insecure about what I write. Like stupid! insecure. And I want to write stuff sometimes, and not worry about grammar and not get flamed for it. So I tend to keep things private until I have them polished, then I post at ff.net.

Thanks for the review of this one shot and your kind words.

:o)

*I have half of the Seth mono-story next chapter done.*

Wow, this was really emotional. Personally, I never liked Theresa, but I did feel kind of bad for her here. I did feel more for Ryan though. I can't imagine going on with my life and then being blindsided like that on some random day. Ouch...

I was also wondering about your fics. Is it ok if I friend you? I haven't really seen anything else you've written, but I am definitely interested. Especially since I have been hearing such great things about your stories.

Hey dani. I added you to an LJ account I started for my fic. I'm going to trasfer all my stories to that site.

"Especially since I have been hearing such great things about your stories."
Shut up! I'm always amazed that people even read my stories.
