Apparently when my parents say "We should agree not to discuss politics", that was code for "We're going to make constant flippant remarks about politics, and you shouldn't argue with us about it". Sigh.

I really like my parents and I love spending the holidays with them, but this may be one looooooooooooong break.

I can see it now. If I were to drink each time these occur:

-'Obama' is replaced with 'Osama'
-Blagojovich is spoken about as if its a certainty he collaborated with Obama on selling his seat
-The phrase 'stupid liberal' is mentioned
-Obama is implicated as a major bribe taker by Freddie Mae and Freddy Mac

I'd be shit-faced in 20 minutes.
