But I liked it. The Stones were in fine form tonight. Yes, they are older than dirt and it's astonishing that Keith Richards can even walk, let alone play a guitar solo... but it was good stuff nonetheless. Well, unfortunately the crowd always seems to be like that...the need to sing even thou they can't and drink or smoke obscene amounts of both. I stopped going to see one of my favorite bands because the fan base changed so much. Oh well.

I love the one's you mentioned that they didn't play...but I have to say that it doesn't surprise me. :P Wild Horses isn't exactly "rock n' roll"...hehe...

i'm curious what band it was.

I'm sure there are bootlegs floating around with all the songs I want to hear. I'll just spill some cheap beer on the floor, have the neighbors light up a joint, and pretend that i'm there.

i do a mean mick jagger impersonation, you know. but no one is allowed to see it.

It was DMB, thou I don't really listen to them much these days. By my fifth concert, I got tired of the drunks...oh well.

i just stumbled across your journal, to see that you saw the stones last night. i saw them here in pittsburgh on friday for my birthday. i'm insanely jealous they played "sympathy for the devil" at the show you saw, i would have loved to hear it. though, they played "angie" at ours, so i suppose we're even ;)

that's what is nutty about this tour. it's like they want you to follow them around from city to city or something to hear everything. i was a little bummed at the playlist, but they seemed to have fun. and i know the crowd liked it. if i ever get to see them again, they need to talk to me beforehand. :)
