2:22

It seems as though I am living my life in a very tight time sequence. It started early Sunday morning, while sitting at the kitchen table, eating Ore Ida Crispy Crinkle Fries. I happened to glance at the microwave clock and it read 2:22. Let me interject by noting that for some reason, I feel a sense of fullness and contentment when I see a digital ( Read more... )

wow. i can't believe you brought this up. for the last few months, i've been telling my dad how triple numbers are a huge part of my life. they show up when i'm most sad, in despair or in incredible doubt.

that and the number 23 haunts me and i don't know why. actually, right now i just looked at the clock and it's 1:23 in the morning. and if you want to be technical the example you gave, 222, is actually three two's. 23.

and now a movie just came out starring a comedian who's being haunted by the number 23.

all the gas prices have been 2.3-something since this whole 23 thing started.

it goes on and on.

That's strange. Maybe we're both some sort of super hero. I'm gonna wait for my assignment from some stranger in the streets. Then I'll know it's true.

I think everyone likes the repeating numbers because you have to look at the clock within a very specific time frame, so it doesn't happen often. I don't think the numbers have ever held a special meaning for me.

Except 12:34. I always thought it was cool because it's the most you can count to on a clock (1,2,3,4), and it also happens to be the time I was born. It's weird how often I look up and see this time.

No, I haven't been watching this season. And sadly, I may never know as they did not record the seconds.
