Awww, hugz for joo. We should hang out, you won't have to turn your mind off then. We keep having to read about men and women doing things on the forest floor, and it's not looking/picking flowers or searching for botany/zoology classes. >_

I hear ya.

I get so physically and mentally exhausted by the end of the day. My Gender Violence class, which is three hours long, is particularly devastating - videos we watch are *GRAPHIC*. It's hard to sit through. Being a psych major in general, in addition to having a job that deals only with rape and abuse, is superrrr draining. It's kind of why I feel I can't be a counselor - I have to emotionally detatch myself SO much, and while I realize that's a good quality to have as a counselor, I feel it would be hard to feign empathy if I'm so desensitized.
