today my roommate asked me, "so how does that whole segregation thing work in the south?" and he honestly meant it.

i hate that i found this out through facebook, but troy smith passed away. he was one of the greatest people i have ever known and an incredible teacher. he's the reason i want to go into the field i am looking at, because there are people like him who do it. and now i'll never have a chance to tell him that.

first update in a month i think. graduation was sufficient. it was in a warehouse, but diplomas are diplomas so it was good enough. daniel's lakehouse was awesome though. the weather and lake temperature were both perfect. we did a ton of tubing which was awesome/miserable at the same time. i think the best crash was when one whole tube with 3 ( Read more... )

i'm glad the english essay is over, even though i never got stressed about it at all. i'm pretty sure it'll be a completion grade and she'll just give us our normal essay grades. so i should get somewhere between a 50 and a 100. we played pelham tonight and won 9-0. that means that between the girls playing pelham twice and us playing them twice ( Read more... )
