I have been going through a phase where I'm feeling like doing a lot of papercraft.

I made a wedding card and decorations for a baby shower. The mum-to-be liked the decorations so much that she asked to keep them and will use them for the baby's room!

Here is the link to the Canon website that is awesome for crafts. But you need a colour printer. ( ( Read more... )

Craft supplies are fatal, aren't they? There's this tiny little haberdashery shop in Peckham called Jean's Fine Fabrics, it's chaos inside, you can barely move for stuff piled everywhere. I spent ten quid there yesterday effortlessly.

I like the name of that shop! It must be really fun to sort through the pile of stuff.

Confession. I was actually a bit crazy and spent about $50-$60, but they charged me an extra $84.95. I totally didn't batt an eyelid and paid for it, thinking "Woah, so yeah.. guess I really didn't look at those prices! Oh wells".

Turns out that the lady forgot to void some curtains that the last person was getting a price check on. But they just refunded me, so all was good.

Do what I do, pretend the refund is credit. But I could easily spend that much, luckily Jean doesn't have eftpos...

Wow, 30,000 views - that's huge!

Bubble machines are awesome, they use them every year and the small childrens chase after the bubbles delightfully:) But the best is always the disco ball tree - when I grow up and have my own yard with trees, I'm totally going to have one of my own:)
