I have been going through a phase where I'm feeling like doing a lot of papercraft.

I made a wedding card and decorations for a baby shower. The mum-to-be liked the decorations so much that she asked to keep them and will use them for the baby's room!

The speed dating was fun, although there were a few weird ones - like the guy who we had met at speed dating that time we went a year ago, who said he had never been speed dating before. I ended up with a few matches. Had drinks with one of them, but there really wasn't any spark. Still a good date though ( Read more... )

Had swing class today, so it must be time to post! Swing class was very good. Partly because I've missed 2 classes, which means the leads (boys) have gotten better. Also we were down two guys, so two more advanced leads joined in. Learnt a six step move, and practiced the old charleston move, then tried joining it together. An enjoyable class! ( Read more... )

I had a really good birthday party on Saturday. Sad, that some friends missed it, but it felt like I didn't really get a chance to catch up with most people anyway. But it was really good to see everyone. Also I had 2 cakes - both chocolate and one was gluten free! Both made by my amazing sisters. So yesterday I turned 28 and saw Avatar in 3D, had Yum Cha with my family and hung out with Mentee, and another of the mentees.
