I just read that Heath Ledger died.  That makes me really sad, and for some reason it's really stayed at the forefront of my mind.  It's just not something anyone ever expected, at least as far as I can tell.  Though he's been portrayed as a semi-emo kind of guy, he also seemed to be well-adjusted and, well, normal.  More normal, at least, than

It was very sad indeed. He was just 28. And yes, the saddest part is that he'll never be there for his daughter. I just hope it was an accident and not a suicide.

I am with you in your hope that it was an accident, for lots of different reasons. You know, there are some celebs who, while I would always hope everything would be okay, this would not have surprised me. I was very shocked that this happened to him.
