Crossing the Lines of Decency

This just makes me angry.  This is one of those times when I sincerely look at the world and acknowledge, once again, that I will never understand people.  Ever.

In summary, the story is about the radical Baptist group that sends protesters to the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq.  I've seen too many stories regarding this group of mutants

Also.. I wanted to say my piece about Tom Cruise and that vid...

What concerned me was that he sounded incoherent and I dunno... vaguely mentally disturbed. Not his beliefs. If Scientology does it for him then he has a right to his views and even to air them in public. I also have no issue with him using his fame to further his religion. If he's not harming anybody then I don't see the fuss.

Nowadays we say things like 'Oh he's a public figure and he should set the correct example.' and 'His comments could lead to fans of his doing stupid things.' (I believe he made some comments about medicine and stuff.)

I think if fans of his are stupid enough to listen to him without thinking for themselves then they deserve what they get. You have been given a brain for a reason people. Use it.

I still am of an opinion that Tom Cruise is a good actor and I have enjoyed a number of his films. Beyond his acting I don't give a damn what else he does.

He has seemed mentally disturbed to me for a long time. I agree with you, though...he makes great movies. And...he's hot. There's just no question about that.
