Back to School?

I had a realization last night when I was battling insomnia (my daughter is starting to get her sleep schedule normalized, now I have to follow suit).  The realization was simple:  I'm 28 years old, and I've reached the pinnacle of what I can do with my career.  I am a teacher - if you didn't know that, then ... Nice!

I think it's a great idea! Good for you!

I'm really thinking about taking some classes since I'm home all the time now. I just need to get the motivation.

I don't know what I would do to get an entire year off to care for my new baby...but alas, I get only seven weeks. It seemed like such a long time before she was born, but now the weeks are going by too quickly and I'll be back at work in just another month.

My labor was easy, so I'll be fully recovered and ready - physically. But I just don't know how I'm going to go back in and do a good job while my baby is somewhere else. It's just inconceivable to me.

Maybe I need to move to Canada...*food for thought*

You know... It's funny you posted this.. because for the past fw weeks i've been seriously considering getting my Masters too. It will do nothing for my career but I still want it.

I'm still thinking about it and may take a decision on it soon.
