Very nice! I was waiting for the sad ending -- thank you for the happy one! Only one comment -- I did not think a forest had "eaves" -- I thought only a house had "eaves"... I could be wrong though! Good luck with this!

Thank you! 'eaves of the forest' is a poetic, archaic phrase- though a google search did turn it up in a few quotes :D

You can really make lilac wine, I found a recipie online, but it requires something like 8 quarts of lilac blossoms, picked off their little stems. I think that's all the flowers from at least one big bush ...

I really like this, watch the older english. I believe it's 'Tis and not T'is and you also have ideed, I think you meant indeed.

Oh, what fun, I really enjoyed this. I also loved the happy ending. The cadence certainly is reflective of a folk tale. Well done!
