It's part of your genes and brain development. It isn't anyone's fault. Some people can change, and some can't. Some people areself-conscious/shy, and some people act self-conscious/shy. There's a tremendous difference between the two. And unfortunately, it's really hard to go against nature. You may not understand why people act that way, but for some it's their way of life and they can't do much to overcome that problem. For others, they just haven't snapped themselves out of it.
lol i don't think i'm "shy", just socially awkward. i have a hard time talking to people i don't know, especially if they intimidate me.
it's a psychological thing moreso than a lifestyle. i feel like i need everyone to like me, so i'm scared of saying something wrong or people thinking i'm ugly or fat or whatever. it's never really about the other person, it's about me. and everyone else who's shy.
but it's not like it's completely irreversible. it's just something that the shy person has to work on themselves.
yea, i understand the whole thing where you don't want people to not understand you cuz of something you said.. i feel that way sometimes too.. like with people i don't know... not understanding something that my good friends would totally when what i meant if i say it.. yea... <3 yay football and new lj names!
