It's Temari's birthday!

[And yes indeed, there were explosions. Soon after, Sai comes over, to see a bunch of trees on fire.]

[And just sort of stands there for a bit, watching them burn, before he sees her]

Oh! Temari~ [he smiles and waves at her]

Sai. Isn't it awesome? [Smiles back and waves a hand at the burning building.]

..It looks pretty. [So many colours, the greens and browns, the reds, the black of the smoke, maybe he should paint something]

Temari sees Hinata looking nervously at the fire and yells out.] HEY HINATA, OVER HERE!

[Like the good little brother he is, he's here to help her start her birthday off with a bang like she always liked.

So he bought a bottle of petrol, and tipped it everywhere over the shit cabin to give it a little assistance, then walks back to Temari, with his plainly wrapped little present. He'd saved the rest of the Cocaine money to get it for her, and instead of a card he'd found a picture of them in his room and half faded, so he'd scrawled a message over the top of it.

The present itself was a diamond studded rose cold fan, hung on a chain. He knew she loved fans so it seemed only fitting to get it for her.]

Happy Birthday, Temari.

[he shoved the present at her]

[She smiles at Gaara for helping her with the fire, and the present. She laughs at the picture- she'd forgotten about that! But she couldn't be more surprised about what he wrote on it, and despite being pretty emotionally retarded as well, Temari pulls him into a hug. It's the closest she can get to expressing her feelings.

Now she really wants to see what the present is, impatiently ripping off the wrapping to see the freaking gorgeous fan.]

Shit.. [Temari is speechless, for once in her life. She really is touched by his actions and.. Are they diamonds?!?]

[Okay, so a little later on Sai comes back to find Temari, carrying what looks like a small-ish canvas]

[The conversation between Sai and Gaara went something like this:

"What should I paint for Temari's birthday?"

"I don't know? You could paint her?"

"Paint Temari?"

"Yeah. But girls like to look nice, and sexy. Do it like that"]

[Kakashi had been wandering the camp site, doing a lot of nothing, when he suddenly hears a huge crash. And then smells some smoke. And then sees some smoke. God dammit those brats, he knows one/some/all of them are to blame for this]

[He runs over, just in time to see what was left of the roof on the shit cabin set alight. Not that it mattered because fire had already gutted the rest of it. And then he turns a little to see the large around of trees that are on fire, it hasn't rained for weeks so everything is dry... ]

....Shit. [The only thing he can do right now is pull out his phone and call the Fire Brigade, this fire is too big for any of them to deal with. What he can do however is begin scouring the area for culprits]

[Temari is unwisely still near the scene of the crime, although not close to the trees anymore. Bushfires are a natural part of life! Some trees even need a fire to spread their seeds. She's not worried.

When she sees Kakashi sensei prowling around the area, she's sure that he doesn't think of it in the same way. She wonders if he's noticed his missing book yet.. Well, Temari's just going to sit there and keep staring at the mesmerising fires.]
