Okay, so everyone has to post news of a celebrity death as if the only information available on the internet is actually LJ... :P It's sad, sure, but why do 35 different people all have to make a post about it? I think everyone has a TV and access to news sites... if they dont, they probably dont know who he is anyway ( Read more... )

I post to remember things for myself and not to inform others of world events. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me....

Put on your girl panties and calm down. Scroll by, or delete people [me, them, everyone, noone], if it upsets you to the point of posting a LJ entry about it ::L::

The standard "If you dont like it, delete it!" spiel is a little tired. :P I am asking why people are so obsessed. To delete a person over one post is not only chldish, it's stupid :P

*smack!*

Plus, you dont count, I can imagine you gasping in horror upon hearing, clutching your bosom and wailing slightly. *Grin*

Actually, while I do think it's sad, my post had less to do with him specifically, and more about how sad the whole mess is i.e. young, seemingly successful people having crazy issues. I actually don't really care too much for him as an actor or find him hugely attractive. So, no gasping in horror. ::shrug::

Now, Suzanne Pleshette, well.... It's different, because she's fabulous!

Oh yeah, that poor woman! Killed... by birds. :(

More people should go out that way.

I think everyone has issues, just being rich and famous means people suck up to you and let you do what you want and allow stupid behaviour to occur. If our friends do it, we smack them in the head.

I'd be more inclined to post something about it myself, if say he was killed while saving a pregnant woman from getting struck by a car or something.

NOT overdosing. That's so '87.

Isn't it just! And leaving a kid behind etc... What a jerk. "Poor tormented Heath, suffering for his art blah blah...", its not like he didnt have a career and stuff most people dont ever get to experience.

It's weak. And who does he think he is... Marilyn Monroe? :P

It's a waste of talent to go out like that. That aspect of stories like this ALWAYS upsets me and touches me.

Then again, it always pisses me off a little when people with bright futures and money piss their lives away, while I know hundreds who struggle to get by and we all manage to stay alive and keep our heads up. Then when the inevitable onslaught of blogs begins and everyone writes a blog crying about it, it kinda serves to piss me off more than be sentimental about their passing.

RIP Heath. Despite the week of blogs that are sure to come...

It might have been an accident, which is sadder I guess. Not so much sad for him but for him having a 2 year old kid etc... Still, I dont think he was that talented.

My LJ has nothing to do with broadcasting to others; it's my journal. I forget that people read it.

Anyway, you've now joined your list of people talking about it :P

Hehehe... I mean moreso that everyone posts about everything like that as if they're the first person to report it and no one out there could possibly know the shocking news. :P "omg Anna Nicole!" etc.

Sooo many more important things going on in the world.

Like quizzes, so we can find out what sort of Breakfast Cereal we are!!!!!
