Actually, I never thought I'd have to put up one of these pinned/floating posts, but like the walrus said, the time has come. (I still feel rather silly though ... it's not like there's a huge number of people reading this thing in the first place, but I'm certain I'm not going to notice any newcomers unless I stick a post here).

I don't suppose I count as a newcomer? :p Besides, I don't have a livejournal account. But I've been lurking every now and then ever since I found a mostly written "In The Forests Of The Night". And that story is still my favorite.

Hee, thank you! That's Chanti, an original character of mine. I think he's waiting for a squirrel (or other rodents) to fall out so he can eat it. Or whatever ... he might look cute, but the character really isn't very nice in real life. XD

Nah, you don't count as a newcomer. Hehehe, I consider you to my very favorite lurker-without-a-LJ account. XD You always make me blush about ITFOTN, at any rate. Hehehe, it's been awhile since I've written anything good though.

Thank you. You're making me embarassed... ("favorite lurker-without-a-LJ account" echoes resound) I think the 'awhile since you've written anything good' might just be because you've been leaning more to not writing in a awhile. Your stuff is good. But you've been writing critiques more lately, which also happen to be good and interesting.

Five years ago, I would have been all over the livejournal... Now, I barely check my email once a week. (Though, for some reason, I check fanfics every day or so.) But who knows... I'm thinking of opening up a few accounts for various things online. If I do open a LJ account, you'll be among the first to know. :)

To be perfectly honest I don't often find myself reading here alot, but every once in a while I come to check in. It's good to hear (read?) how you are doing and see what you've been up to.

I'll admit I still pray you'll update in the Shadowlands Universe, but I also come and read the HnG fics you and others write. It's been a while since I've seen any of it, but Hikago is still a great interest of mine.

Even though I have an LJ I don't update it a whole lot, and when I do it's mostly about my severly boring personal life. So I'd love to friend you, but don't expect anything interesting to be coming out of my end!

Without a doubt, you are really, honestly, the one person that has been reading my stuff from the very bitter beginning, through one name change, and beyond (and you're still around?! It's a miracle!) XD

Sincerely, I'm still really happy that you still want to talk to me ...

... especially after the Shadowlands fiasco. Well, I've never given up on something I've posted ... come Hades or High Water, I will finish that story someday. I don't know if I'll post it *embarassed* but since you've been there, I'll send ya a copy. XD

I still have a pretty solid idea of how it has to go to reach the end ... but it's so far away, and I really need to edit. *arrrrrrgh* I'm kinda really, really embarassed by the fic ... the grammar's horrid, and it's so overly dramatic. But yeah, something about the four characters -- Ribbs, Surprise, Gypsy, and Moondancer -- still sort of come back to me at odd times.
