superman, now captain america...okay these writers are just getting bored. The thing about super heros is that they are timeless. That is the magic of it. They have these super powers and never age. The 'Civil War' series?
They are by far--and I mean BY FAR--the best stuff written in probably 50 years' time.
All superheroes are required to identify themselves, register with the government or face imprisonment. Captain America was to be part of the group enforcing this new law, but refused to do it and went underground. Spiderman thought it was a good idea, publicly unmasked himself--but then started to have serious second and third thoughts about it. Richard Reed (Mr. Fantastic) and Iron Man are among the key supporters, but Invisible Girl actually left him after they went too far.
Fabulous, FABULOUS stuff. Really.
