So! Made it back alive. Yesterday, in fact. But thanks to reasons, I didn't get back until nearly 8PM, and there were other things to deal with before throwing myself into bed. Nothing makes you appreciate a vacation more than coming home, I think. Ramble about times with friends and Christmas with my mom's side of the family to follow...

A song for tonight.
I've written and edited a great deal of Skyborne to U2's "The Joshua Tree", the extended version I received for Christmas last year. This song is one of the best ones from the second CD, and something about it just feels like it goes with the story. And tonight, even after the editing, I just need to hear it again. It's called "Wave of Sorrow":
