sometimes i feel like everything is tantalizingly close, yet still just out of reach. If we could seamlessly accomplish just a few of these things I would be much happier.

I listened to old This American Life's from 2000 today at work, and since it was an election year there were several profiles of a valiant political reformer running for the republican nomination- John McCain. And it made me sad, sad to remember how idealistic and hopeful he and his campaign were in 2000, and sad to see how much has changed between ( Read more... )

Sometimes I am amazed that I somehow ended up with both a best friend and a partner who are willing to listen to me wholly and unfiltered about any and everything no matter there interest level. It's too bad that sometimes I take them both for granted.

I dread coming to work.

This job is terrible.

In perhaps the only way I actually miss working for RMH, I hate how little the Tech's here are allowed/trained to do. As a tech at RMH I assisted with all invasive procedures, transported patients, did CPR, splinted, did EKG's, rolled people off of backboards, and just generally helped out with everything ( Read more... )
