I feel so very, very priviledged to have been around for this election.  It is one of the few times in my life when I know without question that what is happening in the world will matter and will be talked about for years to come.  And for once, it's something positive, rather than a war or horrorific terrorist attack ( Read more... )

So the economy has clearly caught up with Broadway, as show's are getting ready to close left and right (and others aren't even getting to open).  While this could be deemed bad for my chosen profession, I would rather look on the bright side ( Read more... )

So there’s one more aspect of my summer in California that I haven’t really discussed with anyone, but ended up being very important to me and so I wanted to actually sit down and verbalize my thoughts on the matter. You see, this summer was the first time in my life that I spent any significant amount of time around a large group of black people.
