I just spent the evening putting away my cds into leather cases. Went to Indigo Bookstore today after work and picked up a few things. For those of you who are interested they are having a 20% off sale on all kid's books, which isn't a heck of a lot but pretty sweet when you find an old childhood favourite for 6.95.

Here's an article from today's Toronto Star regarding the issue of violence in the city and the public's persception of safety. It provides a rational argument against general feelings of fear I've been spouting lately and I hope that helps quell some anxieties.

Infuriating

This happened just a couple of blocks from where Jason and I live. I immediately called Jason and told him to be wary of helping out strangers on the street. I hate how stupid acts of violence reduces our willingness to act on human decency.
