So I made two new friends at breakfast today. About damn time too, considering I was starting to worry if I even had the ability to make friends anymore.

Classes going ok so far, nothing too major to bitch about I suppose... I guess I'll write more when I've actually acquired a life, and stop boring you for the time being...

No one in their right mind should ever be up at this God-forsaken hour unless they are over the age of 60. Much less going to a chemistry class.

I just found out some of the best news I've heard in like, years and years and years.

I don't wanna jinx it in case something gets fucked up, so I'm not gonna say what it is right now, but holy shit, I can't stop smiling.

So I wake up this morning, turn my alarm off and lay down again, planning on getting up a few minutes later. The next thing I know, I'm getting a text message from Emily at 7:56am. I made a spontaneous decision today to go beg one of the music professors to let me into his music theory class even though it's already full. I think the fact that he did let me in, and the fact that I can't stop smiling about it, may be an indication that I'm not meant to give up the whole music major thing. All I want to do is go to school... that's it. Why is it so fucking hard to get the government to give me some money? They know they'll get it back eventually...
