So, I know I have a weight problem and all of that good stuff, but I wasn't aware of how serious it was until last night. I turned a perfectly healthy and nutritious meal into something quite awful- a delicious bowl of oatmeal (some new line by Quaker Oats "Simply Nature" or something like that. New York here I come.
Hooray! I'm going to New York for Christmas. Not so hooray is the price I paid for the stupid ticket and the fact that I have to buy a coat now. I really dont feel like spending a bunch of money, so I'm gonna try the Burlington Coat Factory outlet in Sawgrass.

Harumph for Illness.
Harumph. I'm getting super worried. I've been feeling really blah for days now, and it just doesn't seem to be getting any better. I'm going to buy Zicam tonight and just hope it's gone tomorrow. You know, I'm not sure about opera anymore. I'm really not. Let me just say, though, that it has nothing to do with me not feeling good enough or any crap like that. So yeah. A bunch of high school kids made me feel really crappy about my voice today. I mean, they didn't say anything to me, but everytime the other two college tenors opened their mouths, the high school boys nearly ejaculated on themselves. Blah. Auditions for "Cosi Fan Tutte" were yesterday. I felt really awful afterwards. The cast list has yet to be posted, but I already know the outcome. While I understand that me not getting a role is probably for the best, I'm still really pissed off. I dont know what's wrong with me; I dont feel like working anymore. Sadly, I dont have have a parent who'll pay my bills or a benafactor, so the day I stop working is the day my phone gets cut off. Ha. I feel so pathetic, I was swept up in the American Idol craze and auditioned this Wednesday. Needless to say, I didn't get through, but I think I made a valiant effort.
