I had a great time at Berkeley. Unfortunately, my flight up north was delayed a few hours, so that sucked. But once I got there I had a blast. I truly got the whole Berkeley experience: witnessing the triangle man, and a debate at which a student was arrested. HA! This past weekend was pretty cool. On Sunday I drove to Hemet to celebrate my birthday with my family. I got money from my parents to buy a plane ticket to visit Luke at Berkeley. It's possible to fill an entire day with errands in Los Angeles: I woke up around 11:00 and headed to Wels Fargo to cash a check. Then I went to University Village to get a hair cut. I received great news today. I was hired to play piano at the downtown Marriott. I'm so grateful to have a job now, and I especially want to thank Frank for helping me get it. I've always wanted a job like this-- doing something I actually love. I hope everything works out okay.

My car's getting fixed AGAIN. I hope I'll have it back by next week.

Yes, being here in my apartment alone all day does suck, but there are perks: I've seen almost every Family Guy episode and I'm catching up on movies I've wanted to see for awhile.
