great present!
I got one as a shower gift from Joe's mom-it's so easy to use even if it weighs a ton. Try doing egg whites or whipping cream!

We even have a couple of attachments from the 70's that still connect right up to the current mixers. If you use yours as much as we have, you will surely enjoy it. we don't even use it as much as we could.

happy for you guys. (and the gift to Joe might be all the awesome foods you will be making with the new mixer ;-) enjoy.

I love cooking. I have a stand mixer/handheld in one. I mostly use the handheld part because I have to store the rest of it up high (small kitchen). Didn't you just redo your kitchen? Bet it looks great!

Ohhh, what a wonderful gift! That's so awesome! I'm sure you'll be making treats for us when you have FNG at your place again! (hint, hint ;)

I'd love to! I've already used it twice since I got it, which is unusual because I hardly ever used my handheld one. I might make the chocolate chocolate chip cookies I made for our Michigan trip - they were so very good!
