vote or I'll abort you

I was talking to my roommate about the election next year and she mentioned that it's just too hard to know where the candidates stand on each issue. Well I found a super handy site that tells you their basic stance and allows you to do a side-by-side comparison. Leave a comment

i want to second your comment. people who don't vote should not be restricted from doing other things, like complaining about the state of the world.

there's an awesome quiz you can take to try to find out which candidate fits your values. I'm going to try to find it.

oops, should have left out that "not". People shouldbe restricted from complaining if they don't vote. People are idiots - if you don't like your options, at least write in someone, vote for a third party (even if they won't win), etc. Not voting is not an act of rebellion because to the rest of the nation, it signals that you just don't care.

I think even writing in some random third party (like Mickey Mouse or musicwriter18) is a waste and those people should be aborted as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of voting with your conscience...like if you really like a third party candidate, there shouldn't be tons of shame in voting for them (like there is now). I get it that in close elections, this hurts the frontrunners, but I'd say it's better to vote at all than not vote.
