Religious Insurance
Well, its been a while since I have written. I’ve been focusing more on facebook and writing some poetry. The need to write comes as I get closer to Allah, sort of a release of emotions. It’s hard to explain.

Pork Free
Went to lunch with the team before this trip to Hong Kong. What a place. Obviously not halal, everything inside me wanted to leave the place, but the non-muslim members of the team deserve to be happy as well, kan. Is takaful better?
Another issue which has come up is how successful takaful will be in health insurance. In conventional health insurance it is common for policyholders to try to exploit the insurance. Would this happen under takaful? Would it not happen for all takaful, or would it depend on how takaful was perceived, i.e. as a name change or as a real difference? ( Read more... ) -

Meditation practice
I started doing meditation today. My first experience was on doubting myself, whether I can do it properly. I was also falling asleep, so perhaps evenings is not the best time. Very hard to keep my mind still, so we have a long way to go! Haven’t had many dreams in quite a while as my mind has been bothered by the long sickness of my wife.

Speed Trap
Well, I’ve been trying to get my mind around the dream I had two nights ago. I was driving on a road, definitely not Malaysia, seemed like US or another western country, and drove into some sort of trap, perhaps a speed trap. Dreams
I started doing the practices & meditation given to me. Today I did the meditation while lying in bed after subuh (I know, not supposed to sleep after subuh, hard to do for me on the weekends). Where is the money part 2
General takaful liabilities can be split between long tailed products and short tailed products.
