One further note: bear in mind that you're entering a workforce that has an average age of 47.

A lot of your peers are going to be mega-conservative and judgemental. You're going to have to get used to that.

The best thing you can do is to ignore them if they're a stick-in-the-mud, and be there for your younger clients and colleagues when they need a librarian who actually understands them.

Thanks - we should be fine for a while between fit, sports, mario and zelda, (oh and 'de blob' which was thrown in with the package), but it still sounds like a plan for sometime when I have a life again (5 days to go!)
