i thought alice sucked too...just some nobody actress who seemed to show absolutely no disposition towards anything that was happening to her at all, even falling how many fucking feet down a hole and getting thrown on a hat at 238423 mph didn't faze this incredibly jaded version of Alice, who, as a character, went through absolutely no epiphonies or understanding more of who she was, she was a bland piece of doo-doo

true enough, Watch the 1960s BBC Black and White Alice in Wonderland instead, its much better.

i also did not like that tim burton had her slay the jabberwocky, as she was so opposed to the idea. but when another character told her that the sword will do what it wants, that it just needed someone to hold it, it becomes apparent that she won't have to accept responsibilty for it, and she agrees to do it. wtf.
