Derrick can link up with people, which can do a number of things. Early on, he's doing that accidentally. What I'm most concerned with the fact that another person can hear a semi-clear thought or emotion of his when he does so. It's // clearly marked //, and each time, it's also completely okay not to hear it or mistake it as speech and so on

I'll grant permission for all of mine. Starr might be interesting seeing as her power is muscle mimicry meaning she can mimic any movement after seeing it performed once...which seems sort of like Derricks...only not quite?

Neku can read thoughts so I'm not sure if he'll really notice any linking of thoughts.

Virgil, Karrin, Toph, and Blossom are all good to go as far as permission is concerned.

I'll say yes for Galaxia as far as movements are concerned...but she has a special helmet to block out telepathy/empathy. Plus she's bro'hood so I'm not sure how much interaction she'll have with Derrick.

There are similarities, but Derrick can only do the movement exactly at the same time, same way as the other person. Once the link is gone, he can't unless he actually learns it. And there is the potential for Derrick to literally run into a wall...

I'll list Neku with notes and put Galaxia down for movement only.

Update, since most of those characters are dropped. Permissions still stand for Starr, Karrin, and Blossom. You can add Roxas to both as well.

And, yeah, Virgil, Galaxia, Neku, and Toph are all dropped.

yep!! only surface thoughts and the core bits of his identity that never go away. It is more an issue of him getting past her crazy shields etc. If his power isn't necessarily telepathic in nature he should be able to link up with her, which will REALLY FREAK HER OUT

Oh, good point. It's kinda telepathic but not exactly because a lot of depends on the music he hears. Either way, I don't think Derrick could get past the shields, especially accidentally.

I'll throw in both my muses Alto Saotome and Fiore Kissenia for anything. |D Neither of them are particularly strong with mental shields. Fiore is especially vulnerable.
