Derrick can link up with people, which can do a number of things. Early on, he's doing that accidentally. What I'm most concerned with the fact that another person can hear a semi-clear thought or emotion of his when he does so. The feedback loops are something I'm going think on because there seems to be a few characters that could have something like that. =)

All of mine (Xigbar, Sephiroth, Squall, Riku and Tseng) are fair game.

Squall is a telepath, and Xigbar has a tendency to do things like stand on the walls or the ceiling, if that makes any sort of difference.

Unless Squall has some sort of mental barrier, it shouldn't, and Derrick won't be able to cling to a wall. He may end up falling down trying to and breaking any accidental link he may have caused. ... and make a fool of himself. |D;

He's got about enough control to keep people mostly out of his head and that's it, so... I don't think there's any real barrier there.

That might be enough to stop Squall from receiving accidental thoughts and emotions, possibly the movement mimicking too. I've been keeping the accidental links pretty weak and assuming that any kind of block would do just that. It's easier to figure out.

Oh, and I'll have an open log mid next week when Derrick has recovered from being in a four day coma from time travel plottings. They will have the chance to meet and do self-def. stuff; I haven't forgotten. Bad music ended up turning into a huge ordeal for him. |D;;
