tragic news

I am just posting a quick link to Alex's livejournal. Alex's rather amazing mother died of an accident on sunday. All the details are in his LiveJournal. I'll have my own things to say about my remarkable mother-in-law and friend later, because now my heart is breaking.

You and Alex have my heartfelt sympathy, as does his Dad. I only met Alex's mom once, she was an amazing lady. I am so sorry for your loss, I just wish there was something more I could say.
