"From The Wings" is still on-going, but life has been interesting for me, too. A layoff in April of 2008 saw me accept a contract position in Connecticut that lasted 2-1/2 years and certainly kept me occupied. Then it ended abruptly and I had to relocate everything back to Texas and job-hunt yet again. Fortunately, I found something quickly (out of work only 2-1/2 months) but that segued into a rather busy time on a development program. Resting over these last holidays has, I hope, coaxed my muse back, finally, and I hope to get a new installment of FTW out before too long, one that's been hung in editting for some time.

The bits on Lee & Debbye were minor items and leaving them out won't hurt anything 'cept maybe the intertwinign of the stories. It concerns events that are in the future from where FTW is now; I've got bits and drabbles written but not all the connecting pieces.

I should reread FTW, but there's plenty of other works on RBS that I'm trying to catch up on. Glad to see you're back to following things here at least to a limited degree. I'm not sure anyone would have picked up on the Lee and Deebye bits anyhow (once you've written your side of things). I've included a couple of references and Easter Eggs in the story that no one has ever mentioned noticing.

I haven't decided yet. I might pull out my failed attempt at a variations on a theme story and see if I can fix it. Other than that, no definite plans.

I won't be publishing this, since I don't own many of the main characters. As for writing something else to get published, I'm still dreaming. I had a conbook story published last year and will be submitting more.
