Since my trip to AZ at the beginning of March, I have been in touch with my mother. After 15 years of not seeing or hearing from her, I felt I was ready to make a move that I hoped would lead to a healthy, loving mother-daughter relationship. I'm so happy for you Mar! How did you even get in touch with her? I thought you didn't know where she was?

Thanks! She actually moved to AZ a couple of years ago and lives in the same community my grandma does. Although I didn't know exactly where she was, my grandmother (my mom's mom) did. I asked her if she thought my mother would like a relationship with me again and it turns out she did. Now I'm just incredibly grateful that I didn't lose her forever. :)
