Blast from the past
I called KJ to help me with my resume and we ended up talking for a while. It was all so easy and comfortable and pleasant and not angry. I'd deflect all his self praise of how great he was for me, and how well he knew me with more resume questions. It was his way of reminding me of the good times, and how we could be good together. After thirteen years it finally happened. Good to know the feelings were always mutual. I couldn't be happier right now.

I can't stay
He's in denial that I'm leaving and that its over. I don't know why he would still want to stay together. He's hurt me worse than anyone and I can't stay just to be miserable for the rest of my life.
